Pro Sports Academy took the lead in the 21st minute through Kwabena Boakye, who put the visitors in front.
The newly promoted side managed to protect their advantage through the remainder of the first half and went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
Nations FC returned from the interval with greater attacking intent and dominated possession as they searched for a way back into the game.
Their pressure eventually paid off in the 83rd minute when substitute Dede Ishmael found the back of the net to level the score.
Neither side could find a winning goal in the closing stages, forcing the two teams to settle for a share of the points.
At Gyamfi Park in Bekwai, New Edubiase United FC and former Premier League side King Faisal FC played out a goalless draw in Zone Two.

Meanwhile, Nsuopun Fidelity FC maintained their unbeaten start to their second consecutive Division One League campaign after drawing 1-1 away to Sekondi Rospak SC at Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
Nsuopun Fidelity made a quick start, scoring just two minutes into the game before taking their lead into halftime.
Sekondi Rospak responded strongly after the break and eventually drew level in the 80th minute through Eugene Yakah.
The result gave Sekondi Rospak their first point of the season after losing their opening match away from home.
