Two people have died after a road accident involving a Hyundai H100 bus and a Ford tractor on the Kpetoe-Sarakope stretch of the Accra-Aflao Highway.
The accident happened on Saturday, September 26, 2026, when the two vehicles, which were travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao, collided.
The Hyundai H100 was carrying 12 passengers, while the Ford tractor had two people on board.
Firefighters from the Kpetoe Fire Station rescued all 14 people involved in the accident. They were then handed over to personnel from the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service.
The victims were taken to the Ho Teaching Hospital for treatment. However, one male and one female were later confirmed dead.
The Ghana National Fire Service has advised motorists to be careful when using the road. It also urged drivers to avoid improper overtaking and follow road safety rules to help prevent accidents and loss of lives.
