Erling Haaland continues to set remarkable scoring records as he strengthens his place among the most important footballers in Norway’s history.
The 26-year-old striker has scored 64 goals in 56 appearances for Norway, producing an outstanding international record since making his senior debut.
Haaland has also been highly prolific at club level. His numbers across England, Germany and European competition highlight his consistency in front of goal.
In the Premier League, the Manchester City striker has scored 117 goals in 137 matches. During his time in the Bundesliga, he found the net 62 times in 67 appearances.
His record in the UEFA Champions League is equally impressive. Haaland has scored 59 goals in 59 matches in the competition, maintaining an average of a goal per game.
For Norway, his contribution has been even more significant in recent years. He scored 16 goals in eight World Cup qualifying matches as the country ended a 28-year wait to return to the tournament.
He then continued his goalscoring form at the World Cup, scoring seven goals in five matches as Norway reached the quarter-finals.
Haaland’s rise has also given Norway a prolific attacking threat and a player capable of producing decisive moments at the highest level.
