Member of Parliament for Offinso North, Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah, has supported 80 outstanding Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates from the constituency with cash and educational materials to help them continue their education.
The beneficiaries, selected from the five zones of the Offinso North Constituency, are among the best-performing candidates in the BECE and are preparing to take the next step in their educational journey.
Dr Kyei Asamoah, who is also a member of Parliament’s Education Committee, said the initiative forms part of his commitment to supporting young people and promoting academic excellence in the constituency.
He said investing in education was one of the most important ways to empower young people and create opportunities for them to achieve their goals.
“I am proud to be supporting 80 of our best-performing BECE candidates from the five zones of Offinso North Constituency as they take the next step in their educational journey,” he said.
The MP noted that the support, which includes cash and educational materials, is intended to ease some of the financial burden on the beneficiaries as they begin their secondary education.
He also encouraged students across the constituency to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their studies.
“To every Offinso North student watching, stay focused, stay disciplined and keep pushing; opportunities like this exist for those who put in the work,” he said.
Dr Kyei Asamoah congratulated the 80 students on their achievement and expressed optimism that the support would motivate them to work harder and inspire other young people in the constituency to pursue academic excellence.
