Ghana’s 2026/27 Colts Football Season will officially be launched on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm and will bring together key stakeholders involved in the administration and development of juvenile football in Ghana.
All Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairmen are expected to attend the launch. Members of the Football Association’s Executive Council will also be present, underlining the importance of Colts football in Ghana’s football development structure.
Members of the National Juvenile Committee are also expected to participate in the event as preparations for the new season gather momentum.
The launch will provide an opportunity for football authorities and other stakeholders to outline their expectations for the 2026/27 season. It will also serve as a platform to renew their commitment to developing young football talents across the country.
Colts football continues to play an important role in Ghana’s football system. The programme provides young players with an opportunity to develop their skills and gain experience at an early stage of their careers.
It also serves as a pathway for talented youngsters who hope to progress into organised football and eventually compete at higher levels.
The upcoming launch is therefore expected to set the tone for another season of youth football across the country.
The 2026/27 campaign will also mark the fifth consecutive season in which the Colts Football Season has been officially launched and subsequently completed.
