The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, has withdrawn from the race to become the party’s next National Organiser.
The decision was announced by the Chairman of the NPP Elections Committee, Frederick Opare Ansah, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, ahead of the balloting for the position.
Mr Mustapha was among the candidates who had expressed interest in contesting for the National Organiser position ahead of the NPP’s national executive elections scheduled for October 3, 2026.
His withdrawal means he will no longer take part in the race, leaving the remaining candidates to compete for the position.
