Arsenal chases Champions League crown after EPL triumph

Arsenal is now just one game away from completing what many supporters believe could become the greatest season in the club’s history.

After ending a painful 22-year wait for the Premier League title, the Gunners are now chasing European glory in the UEFA Champions League final.

Mikel Arteta’s side officially secured the 2025/26 Premier League title after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth.

Arsenal currently sits top of the table with 82 points from 37 matches, while second-placed Manchester City is on 78 points with one game left to play.

It marks Arsenal’s first league title since the famous “Invincibles” season of 2003/04 and their 14th English top-flight crown overall.

The achievement is even more impressive considering the club had finished runners-up in each of the previous three seasons before finally getting over the line this year.

Arteta has transformed Arsenal into one of Europe’s strongest teams through discipline, tactical balance and a fearless attacking style.

Players such as Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard and William Saliba have played key roles in the club’s remarkable campaign.

Now, Arsenal stands on the edge of history once again. The North London club have booked a place in the UEFA Champions League final after defeating Atlético Madrid in the semi-finals.

It will be only the second Champions League final in Arsenal’s history and a chance to finally win Europe’s biggest club trophy for the very first time.

Winning both the Premier League and Champions League in the same season would firmly place this Arsenal team among the greatest in football history.
