Ghanaian actor and comedian Richard Kweku Asante, famously known as Kalybos, has a huge reason to celebrate this year.

On Monday, April 27, 2026, the “Boy Abrɛ” star announced that he and his wife, Antwiwaa, have welcomed their first child.

The news arrived on a very special day, as it also happened to be the actor’s birthday.

Kalybos shared his joy with fans by posting a heartwarming photo on social media. In the picture, he holds a baby carrier next to a bright balloon that reads “Welcome Baby.” While he kept the baby’s gender a secret for now, his message radiated gratitude and faith.

“+1 Today with another blessing from above already added to my LIFE. Indeed, God did.”

This happy milestone comes nearly three years after the couple’s beautiful, celebrity-filled wedding in November 2023. The announcement quickly went viral, touching the hearts of many across the internet. Fans and fellow actors are currently flooding his page with warm wishes and congratulatory messages to celebrate the new father.
