Music group Nkyinkyim Band has officially announced the departure of its drummer, George Kaiser, popularly known as Kind Dee.

In a statement released on Wednesday, April 15, the band confirmed that the decision for Kind Dee to step down was reached amicably and with mutual respect.

Kind Dee, who has been a key member of the band, was credited for his immense contribution to the group’s growth and sound over the years.

According to the statement, his talent, discipline, and creativity played a significant role in shaping the band’s musical identity and memorable live performances.

“His presence on stage and in our music has helped shape many of the memorable experiences we have shared with our audience,” the statement noted.

Despite the split, Nkyinkyim Band expressed appreciation for Kind Dee’s dedication and wished him success in his future pursuits.

The band further assured fans and stakeholders that it remains committed to its mission of creating, performing, and promoting Ghanaian music at the highest level.

With renewed energy, the group said it is focused on the future and will soon update the public on its next steps.
Fans have been urged to continue supporting the band as it transitions into this new phase.
