Tetteh Quarshie – East Legon Road to be closed for repairs
The Ministry of Roads and Highways through the Department of Urban Roads, has from today, closed the Tetteh Quarshie – East Legon to traffic temporarily for repairs.
The closure, which began at midnight on Friday, October 15 was expected to end at midnight on Sunday, October 16, would affect Shiashie and its environs.
The closure of the boundary road is to allow the contractor to repair deteriorated sections of the road.
In a statement issued to that effect on Tuesday, October 12, motorists were advised to follow the traffic diversion signs to be placed at various sections of the road during the period.
“Please bear with us as we strive to eliminate the bottlenecks in our traffic system,” the Department urged all private and commercial drivers, commuters, and the public.
