Hearts of Oak have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season with a recruitment strategy that places strong emphasis on young and promising players.
The Phobians have secured several new signings as they prepare for the new campaign, which is scheduled to begin on September 4.
Among the club’s notable additions is Abdul Aziz, who joins from Swedru All Blacks on a three-year contract. Free agent Ebenezer Amoh has also signed a two-year deal with the Accra-based club.
Hearts have invested in players who could form part of their long-term plans, with Rockson Kyeremeh and centre-back Manuel Osei Djan joining from PAC Academy on five-year contracts.
The club have also completed the signing of Caleb Koranteng from Victory Club Warriors and Alex Banso from Namoro FC.
Another addition to the defensive department is free-agent right-back Prince Amevor, while goalkeeper Vicente Anane has also joined the team.
The Phobians have further strengthened their attack with the signing of Ivorian forward Mamadou Kader Kourouma. His arrival is expected to provide additional options in the final third as the club prepares for a demanding league campaign.
Free-agent defensive midfielder Dominic Nsobila has also joined the club, adding further competition to the midfield.
The recruitment of several players on long-term contracts indicates that Hearts of Oak are not only preparing for the immediate season but are also looking to develop a squad that can serve the club for several years.
