According to residents, the suspect accompanied his father, Atta Jacob, to their farm but later returned home alone, raising suspicion among family members and neighbours.

Sources said some farmers working on nearby farms heard the deceased screaming for help and rushed to the scene.

They reportedly found his lifeless body lying in a pool of blood with multiple cutlass wounds.

The body has been deposited at the Berekum Holy Family Hospital for preservation and an autopsy.

A resident, Mr. Kwaku Gyan, said the suspect’s return from the farm without his father prompted concern before news of the incident emerged.
