The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Akuapem North Constituency is in mourning following the death of its Constituency Secretary, Isaac Batsa Hamillin.

Reports indicate that the party executive was found dead in a hotel room at Amanokrom in the Eastern Region, where he had reportedly lodged.

The news has thrown the constituency into shock, with party members and supporters expressing deep sorrow over his sudden passing.

The NDC Akuapem North branch has officially confirmed the death and described it as a huge loss to the party’s grassroots structure.

Details surrounding the circumstances leading to his death remain unclear, and the body has since been conveyed for preservation as investigations continue.

Party officials are expected to meet to decide on funeral arrangements and to support the bereaved family during this difficult period.

The late constituency secretary was known within the party for his organisational role and involvement in local political activities in the area.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the cause of death, while investigations are ongoing.
