Lawyers for Ken Ofori-Atta have declared that the Red Notice against him has been permanently removed from INTERPOL’s system.
In a statement issued on February 13, 2026, Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-Cathline and Partners indicated that the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files determined during its 135th Session that the notice “appears of a predominantly political character” and does not adhere to INTERPOL’s regulations.
The commission further stated that the information provided by the INTERPOL National Central Bureau of Ghana was non-compliant and “should be deleted from the INTERPOL information system.”
The statement was endorsed by Justice Kusi-Minkah Premo, legal representative for Mr. Ofori-Atta.
