I’m disappointed in ‘family and friends’ NPP government – Mahama
The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has stressed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no framework for policies it has rolled out.
According to him, the NDC has an actual roadmap for the creation of the new regions as compared to the NPP.
He says the NPP has failed to ensure the putting in place of a proper framework for the newly created regions.
Addressing party supporters in the Savannah Region during a tour, the former President expressed his disappointment in the Akufo-Addo led administration.
He noted “I find it disappointing to have a government that only fancy creating opportunities to increase its family and friends size of government without recourse to the development of the country.”
He also raised concerns over the government’s inability to continue most of the E-Block projects.
“The Mpaha Community Day School in the Central Gonja district that has been left to rot could transform education in this area,” he pointed out.
The former President is expected to make stops in the North East and Oti regions in a six-day ‘Thank You’ tour.
