The nationwide recruitment exercise for Ghana’s internal security agencies officially commences today, Monday, 17 November 2025, at 12:00 noon, as the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) opens for applications.
A public announcement has verified that the portal will remain operational until Friday, December 19, 2025, providing prospective candidates with a month to submit their applications to join the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Prisons Service.
Prospective applicants are required to acquire a voucher solely through two primary channels: by using the USSD code *713*03# on all mobile networks or by visiting any GCB Bank branch across the country.
A crucial directive from the announcement stressed that “Applicants must specify which Agency’s voucher they intend to buy at both voucher purchase channels above”.
This measure is intended to ensure that applications are directed to the appropriate service from the beginning.
The C-SERP system was established to enhance the recruitment process into the security services, rendering it more transparent and accessible.
The announcement reiterated the government’s dedication to a clean process and explicitly cautioned the public about fraudsters.
“There are no middlemen in the recruitment selection process. Be vigilant and do not fall prey to any scheme purporting to offer admission slots at a FEE.
“The CSERP process is free, fair and open to all qualified Ghanaians,” the announcement stated.
This warning arises amidst ongoing public concerns regarding individuals who seek to exploit desperate job seekers by promising them positions in prestigious state institutions for a fee.
Moreover, the announcement warned that submitting false information or counterfeit documents could result in immediate disqualification and possible legal action.
All eligible Ghanaians wishing to apply are encouraged to access the portal via the web address https://cserpgh.com, carefully read all instructions, and ensure they meet the necessary eligibility criteria before commencing their application.
Authorities reiterated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the screening exercise.
