Harry Redknapp likely for Super Eagles job
Harry Redknapp is being considered as the next manager of Nigeria.
Reports indicate Redknapp is likely to replace the current Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, who has been in charge of Nigeria since 2016.
Rohr who led the team to glory at the last AFCON is yet to agree on a contract extension with the Nigeria Football Federation as his contract expires next month.
The Federation and Redknapp had a similar discussion back in 2016, but talks failed but this time round they are optimistic that they will complete a deal.
If the deal goes through, the world will witness a Harry Redknapp shock return to management after being sacked from duty three years ago by English Premier League side Birmingham.
At the age of 73, he could be set for his second international management after a short-lived stint in charge of Jordan in 2016.
At the club level, Redknapp has managed teams like QPR, Birmingham, Bournemouth, West Ham, Portsmouth and Southampton throughout his career.
