Right To Dream Academy Ghana CEO, Alex Asiedu, has stated that the country’s football talent is being underutilized due to a lack of effective organization.

In a recent interview on ChannelOne Sports, Asiedu highlighted the need for a more structured approach to harnessing Ghana’s rich football talent.

Right To Dream Academy boasts an impressive alumni of talented footballers, including Mohammed Kudus, Ibrahim Osman, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, and several other standout players of this generation, showcasing the academy’s consistent success in developing top-class talent.

Asiedu emphasized that while Ghana has an abundance of talented footballers, the lack of proper organization has hindered the full realization of this potential.

“I think the talent dial has been where it is for years. There is a huge amount of talent in the country. What we don’t have is an organized way of tapping into that talent so that, that talent becomes individually profitable to the person and the nation as a whole also gains from it.”

“Our job is to try and put in place structures that tap into the talent but make no mistake we have a lot of talent in the country, it’s not gone. By virtue of numbers, it’s gone up.”
