The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that all domestic football competitions will proceed as scheduled during the festive season.
Henry Asante Twum, the GFA’s Communications Director, stated that the association is combining the Christmas spirit with thrilling football action, ensuring that fans won’t miss any exciting matches.
“This weekend, there will be games. We have two major assignments” an international CHAN qualifier and domestic competitions. The Black Galaxies will play Nigeria at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, while the Premier League, Division One League, and Women’s Premier League will also continue,” He disclosed.
The association is committed to maintaining momentum after activities were temporarily paused earlier this month due to elections. Fans can anticipate an exciting schedule, which includes the resumption of the Women’s Premier League.
“While celebrating Christmas, you will also have the chance to enjoy domestic football. We want everything to go well without a break,” Twum emphasized.
