The police have arrested three more suspects who are thought to be involved in the Adabraka gold robbery, after several months of continuous surveillance and intelligence-driven operations.
The arrests took place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Ashaiman.
The individuals have been named as Nashiru Abubakari, also referred to as Soldier; Fatao Mohammed, commonly known as Motorway; and a third individual identified as 50 Cent.
With these arrests, the total number of suspects detained in relation to the robbery has risen to seven, following the prior apprehension of four other significant suspects.
Authorities indicate that investigations are still in progress to locate and arrest additional accomplices believed to be associated with the robbery.
There are also ongoing efforts to retrieve items related to the crime.
The suspects remain in police custody and are anticipated to be processed for court in accordance with legal procedures.
