Firefighters from the Amasaman Fire Station have stopped a domestic fire from spreading to three other bedrooms at Amasaman Three Junction, near Marion Hotel.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said firefighters reached the scene to find one room in a four-bedroom self-contained apartment completely engulfed in flames.
The fire was brought under control at 3:48pm and fully extinguished at 4:02pm.
Their quick response prevented the fire from reaching the remaining three bedrooms and their contents.
However, a television, air conditioner and other personal belongings in the affected room were destroyed.
The GNFS said there were no casualties or injuries.
