Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly agreed to a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, with negotiations between the two clubs said to be reaching their final stages.
According to reports, Martinelli has given his approval for the transfer, paving the way for the Brazilian winger to leave Arsenal and continue his career in the Saudi Pro League.
The proposed deal is understood to be worth around £60 million, with Arsenal and Al Hilal currently working to complete the remaining details of the transfer.
Once the final terms are agreed, Martinelli is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia to complete the move and undergo the necessary formalities.
The reported agreement would bring an end to Martinelli’s spell at Arsenal, where he has developed into an important attacking player since joining the club.
The Brazilian arrived at Arsenal in 2019 and quickly made an impression with his pace, direct running and ability to score goals. He has since featured regularly for the Gunners in domestic and European competitions.
His potential departure would represent a significant change for Arsenal’s attacking options, while the reported £60 million fee would provide the London club with substantial funds to strengthen its squad.
