Ghanaian rap heavyweight Sarkodie has a simple piece of advice for anyone waiting for their prayers to turn into reality — get up and make a move.
The rapper, in a motivational post on social media, reminded his followers that faith alone is not enough to achieve their dreams.
According to Sarkodie, people must be willing to act instead of sitting back and expecting their prayers to magically solve their problems.
“You can’t sit in one place, do nothing, and expect everything you’ve been praying for to magically happen,” he wrote.
He urged his followers to combine prayer with action and take the necessary steps towards achieving their goals.
“Say a prayer and make a move. Take that step,” he added.
Sarkodie further likened faith to an opportunity, saying: “Faith opens the door, but you still have to walk through it.”
He ended the message with a blessing for his followers, wishing them a fruitful day.
The post comes as another motivational message from the celebrated rapper, who has built a reputation not only for his music but also for sharing reflections on life, success and personal growth with his fans.
