Highlife musician, Adane Best, has denied rumours claiming that he is seriously ill and in need of financial support.

Speaking with the media, the singer described the reports as false.

“It is not true,” he said, adding that people should stop spreading such rumours.

Adane Best said some individuals may be using his name to make money dishonestly. He also revealed that the matter has been reported to the police.

“The police are actively investigating but haven’t yet made any arrests,” he stated.

The musician explained that he quickly used his social media platforms to deny the rumours after hearing about them.

He also advised people to avoid spreading false information about others.

“You may be thinking you’re making money, but you’re destroying your name too,” he warned.
