Three men have been arrested in connection with the killing of the Queenmother of Amamba, a community near Amantin in the Atebubu area of the Bono East Region.
The suspects have been identified as Rafiu Haruna, Muftawu Adamu and Michael Owusu Spermi.
They are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations into the tragic incident that has left residents in shock and mourning.
The Queen Mother was reportedly shot at her residence in the Methodist Church area of Atebubu.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.
