World Cup 2022: No injuries in Ghana camp ahead of Group H opener against Portugal

Ghana will begin the campaign in the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, November 24.

Coach Otto Addo has a full squad and has been impressed with the work put in by the players since the team was assembled.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has given the assurance that the team will be ready on Thursday for the tough contest against Portugal.

“Everything is on course, we do not have any cause for alarm. All the players are in good condition; all of them are fully fit.

“They have been training since we started camping and I can say that based on what I’ve seen, we have 3 more days to continue our preparations for the first game against Portugal, and we will be very ready for that encounter,” Henry Asante Twum told Joy News.

The Black Stars of Ghana are scheduled to hold two training sessions today as part of the preparations for the Portugal game.

Players are working hard to earn a place in the starting eleven to fight for the country.
