Speaking to the media, he rallied Ghanaians to come out in their numbers to come and vote as it was their civic responsibility.
“I think it is the biggest constitutional right and you can see I came here and we went through all the Covid-19 protocols and it has gone very smoothly and I have cast my vote.
“We want to vote peacefully. This is the most peaceful country in West Africa and at the end of this elections, we want to maintain that reputation as the most peaceful country.
“When you finish voting you go and rest and wait for the counting in the evening, it is a democratic process but it is not about fighting. Let’s all conduct ourselves to ensure an incident-free election” he counselled.
About 75,501 registered voters are expected to cast their votes at 161 polling stations across the Walewale constituency.
Until 2012, Walewale used to be an NDC stronghold.
