VGMA 2019: Seeing Stonebwoy on stage with a gun was unpleasant – Kuami Eugene
Sensational Ghanaian highlife singer, Kuami Eugene, has revealed that seeing the Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy with a gun on stage at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) was unpleasant.
The Highlife Artiste of the year for the 2019 VGMAs, giving his opinion about this year’s music awards show organized by Charterhouse on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show and monitored by theghanareport.com, said “seeing Stonebwoy with a gun on the stage was very unpleasant. Honestly speaking, I was just there watching what was happening. It was Kidi who was trying to run. But as a Fadama guy, I’m used to such occurrences.”
“My management came to pick me to a safe place. It wasn’t something pleasant to see . All jokes aside, what if he had pulled the trigger by mistake?” But I was so sad a lot of people couldn’t see my performance including the investors who were there to see my performances,” the ‘No More’ hit maker added.
