The National Chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, is optimistic that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can regain power if it align its strategies effectively.
He stated that the recent years of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in governance have imparted lessons to Ghanaians that would not have been learned had the NDC remained in opposition.
“If we get our acts right, I can assure you that the New Patriotic Party will come back to power in the 2028 elections,” he remarked.
He emphasised that since assuming power, the party has altered its stance on various issues, a development he considers concerning for the nation’s governance.
“For the lies the NDC peddled, it is just a matter of time. Their lies are gradually catching up with them, and the people of Ghana will deal with them soon,” he expressed while addressing the media.
He took this opportunity to urge the government to abolish the one cedi levy on fuel to alleviate prices, as it is significantly impacting the Ghanaian populace.
