‘The barracks not an avenue for political gossips’ – IGP to police
The Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, has asked police officers to desist from political discussions.
“Desist from political discussions, the barracks not an avenue for political gossips. When you are not comfortable with an issue, engage with your authorities” he said.
The IGP is on a regional tour to assess Police operational readiness towards the 2020 general elections.
He began from the Western North Region.
