Seth Curry signs for Golden State; joins brother Steph Curry in Warriors Backcourt

The Curry brothers have finally united on an NBA roster and get to play together at the professional level after Seth Curry signed to join the Golden State Warriors that is led by his brother Steph Curry.

The younger Curry officially signed a one year deal with the Warriors that will pay him $3.6 million in the upcoming 2025-2026 season.

Seth Curry has played for a bevy of teams since becoming a mainstay in the NBA; he has played for Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trailblazers, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia Sixers in his career.

In the immediate past season while playing for the Hornets, Curry averaged 6.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15.6 minutes across 68 games.

His older brother Steph on the other hand, continues to excel even at the advanced age of 37 as the greatest shooter ever is coming off a campaign that had him average 24.5 points, six rebounds and 4.4 assists in 70 games.

In a related move, the Warriors signed free agent center Al Horford to a two year deal that will pay him $11.6 million with the signing ending Horford’s time at the Boston Celtics.

The 39 year old spent seven seasons in Boston and was integral in the team’s 2023-2024 season NBA title win. The Golden State Warriors open the new season against the LA Lakers on October 22 at 2:00 AM.
