Port City FC have officially sealed promotion to the Ghana Premier League for the 2026/27 season, becoming the first club to secure qualification this season and their first-ever Premier League qualification.
The historic achievement was confirmed following an impressive 3-1 victory over Attram De Visser, a result that leaves Port City FC with an unassailable lead at the top of Division One League Zone 3.
In their win against Attram De Visser, Bernard Quarcoo opened the scoring in the 20th minute, but Enoch Otoo equalised for the visitors with a well-taken finish in the 35th minute to send the game into the break level at 1-1.
After the restart, Quarcoo grabbed his second in the 58th minute to restore Port City’s lead before Korblah Junior Kedzie sealed the win with a third goal in the 79th minute.
With four matches still to be played, the club has built a commanding points gap that no contender can overturn.
Port City FC’s promotion marks the culmination of a dominant season in which they have consistently outperformed their competitors.
