Parliament is set to resume sitting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the Third Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
In a notice issued by Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, proceedings are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House in Accra.
Dated October 20, 2026, the notice was issued in accordance with Order 58 of Parliament’s Standing Orders, which authorises the Speaker to announce the commencement of a meeting of the House.
The upcoming meeting will bring Members of Parliament back to the chamber to continue parliamentary business following the break between meetings.
The resumption is expected to allow the House to continue its legislative and oversight duties, including deliberations on government business and matters referred to parliamentary committees.
However, Parliament has yet to release the specific agenda items for consideration during the meeting.
