The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has disbursed the funds for all Senior High and Technical Schools to support the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) practicals.
A statement issued by Mr. Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, stated: “This payment ensures that all practical examinations scheduled for the 2026 WASSCE are fully supported, including the provision of the required materials and other essential resources”.
It further clarified that the allocation of these funds aims to facilitate a seamless and well-organised examination process, allowing students to concentrate on their studies while alleviating any financial pressure on parents and guardians.
Additionally, GES management will continue to oversee the use of the funds to ensure adherence to regulations and uphold high standards in the examination administration.
“The Ghana Education Service appreciates the cooperation of all stakeholders in advancing quality education and remains dedicated to creating an enabling environment for the success of all students,” the statement concluded.
