Back to their protesting best, aggrieved customers of defunct Menzgold have thronged the plush residence of the company’s embattled CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, over their locked-up funds.

The group who refused to leave until their monies were paid were met with heavily-built security men as well as officers from the police service to quell the agitations.

“Is NAM1’s blood made of gold and ours made of sand, why are they protecting this fraudster, because of one person?” a heavily gesticulating woman fumed in an interview on JoyNews.

She declined to reveal the amount she invested, explaining the thought of the money triggers heartache.

“A lot of people have died and keep dying while the government looks on, why?” she said.

The customers bused from Tarkwa, Kumasi and parts of Greater Accra say they are ready to spend the night at the CEO’s residence until their monies are paid.

The embattled firm had announced earlier that it will from Friday, December 27, 2019, begin paying customers arrears dating back to 2018.
