Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus made his competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspur during the UEFA Super Cup, where the London club faced Paris Saint-Germain.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw after regulation time, but Tottenham lost in the penalty shootout, missing the chance to win a second consecutive European final. They had previously defeated Manchester United to secure the Europa League title last season.
Kudus played 79 minutes in this match, marking his first competitive outing for Spurs since joining the club from West Ham United for a reported fee of £55 million on a six-year contract.
He completed two of three dribbles and 10 of 12 passes while winning five of 11 ground duels during the game.
Mathys Tel replaced Kudus with Spurs leading 2-0, following goals from defenders Micky Van De Ven and Cristian Romero.

PSG got late goals through Lee Kang In in the 85th minute and Goncalo Ramos in the 93rd minute to even the score.

Spurs take on Burnley in its 2025-2026 EPL season opener on Saturday, August 16 at 14:00 GMT at home.
