Medeama beat Aduana Stars in Ghana Premier League outstanding game
Medeama made their home advantage count after beating Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture on Thursday morning.
The Yellow and Mauve prevailed with a 2-0 win over the fire boys at the Akon Community Park, courtesy of Michael Enu and Derrick Fordjour’s goals.
The highly anticipated match between Medeama SC and Aduana FC in the outstanding week 18 fixture was postponed due to heavy rainfall on Wednesday afternoon.
Both teams failed to find the back of the net in the first half, leading to a pulsating goalless draw.
Unfortunately, the heavy downpour prevented the conclusion of the game, leading to its postponement.
Today, the remaining minutes were played, and Medeama managed to pick up all three points in the game.
Michael Enu opened the scoring for the home team in the 71st-minute mark before Derrick Fordjour sealed victory in injury time.
The Yellow and Mauve are 9th on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points while Aduana Stars sit 3rd spot with 36 points.
