The address, which is a constitutional obligation, allows the President to delineate the government’s policy direction, assess national progress, and underscore significant challenges facing the nation.

The Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, is expected to preside over the session, which will convene Members of Parliament, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and other distinguished guests.

The State of the Nation Address is considered one of the most important events on Ghana’s political calendar, establishing the framework for national dialogue and directing legislative priorities for the year.
