The 45-year-old has worked as a youth coach over the years, including with the U-18 side of Danish club Nordsjaelland and Ghana’s U-17 side, the Black Starlets.

“We want to be leading one of the big teams across the world in the next five years,” Laryea told Sporty FM.

“I want to find myself leading a team in the AFCON, and then, if not, in a first-team environment anywhere across the world.

“That is my target in the next five years.”
