Journalist crushed to death on his way to work

A broadcast journalist, Peter Asabesi, met his untimely death on Monday, 5 September 2022, en route to work.

Asabesi, popuparly known as Efo Gbagamalo, worked at Gyimah FM located at Yeji in the Bono East Region.

According to reports, he was crushed to death by a truck transporting sachet water.

The truck with registration number As 7953-10 was overtaking a tricycle and rammed into the motorbike the presenter was riding.

He was rushed to the St Mathias Hospital at Yeji and was later transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he passed on.

Peter Asabesi was the mid-morning show host for Gymiah FM.
