The Ghanaian social media community is mourning the sudden loss of TikTok personality and influencer Osanju Frimpong Elvis, who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Known for his candid and uplifting videos, Osanju had amassed a loyal following on TikTok, where he often shared parts of his daily life, challenges, and humour.
Just hours before his death, he posted a video of himself watching a Spanish La Liga match between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano.
In the clip, he seemed visibly disappointed with the 1-1 result, but showed no signs of being unwell.
The news of his passing has left fans and fellow content creators in shock, especially given the timing of his final post.
While the cause of death has not been officially confirmed, Osanju had previously opened up about facing serious health issues.
“My blood is clotting, and I’m yet to figure out what is causing this. I’m running some tests, the quality clotting profile test. I hope everything turns out great,” he shared in an earlier interview.
In that same interview, he revealed that the cost of treatment had become overwhelming, forcing him to sell personal belongings.
He also spoke about the kindness of strangers who donated to support his medical care after connecting with him through TikTok.
Osanju’s openness about his health struggles made him relatable to many. His resilience and optimism, even in difficult times, left a deep impact on those who followed his journey.
