GFA announce commercial deal with DDP Outdoor Limited for Ghana Premier League
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and DDP Outdoor Limited (DDP) have signed a four-year revenue share agreement for the latter to build and manage advertising inner perimeter boards at all Ghana Premier League (GPL) centres.
Apart from providing and managing quality advertising boards at the various stadiums, DDP as part of the deal will also provide outdoor billboards across the capitals of the country and other advertising spaces at airports and other public places to publicise products and programmes of the GFA.
DDP Outdoor Limited, a leader in outdoor advertising in Ghana will design, develop and manage a first-class, high-quality, state of the art advertising programme and install and maintain advertisements at the various stadiums on match days of the GPL.
In consideration of the rights granted under the agreement, DDP shall pay to GFA and Premier League clubs, quarterly revenue payments from the Net Sales generated from the available advertising space during Premier League matches. DDP will provide these, out of home advertising media to the GFA, at no cost to the GFA.
This agreement will ensure that there are standardised branding, high-quality boards that combine brand impact and safety of the participants in the inner perimeter.
DDP Outdoor Limited was established in 1973 with emphasis on Out of Home Advertising, billboard production and installation, production of point-of-sale materials, exhibition building/display, wide-format digital printing, etc.
Leveraging a network of over 2,700 billboards, DDP serves both multinational and domestic companies across various sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, telecommunications, financial services, sports etc.
The Ghana Football Association says it will in the coming days meet all the 18 Premier League Clubs for full briefing and breakdown of the deal.
