GACL terminates revenue assurance audit agreement with Evatex logistics
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has officially ended its Revenue Assurance Audit agreement with Evatex Logistics Limited.
In a letter dated July 28, 2025, addressed to Mr. Evans Adusei, the Chief Executive Officer of Evatex, GACL communicated its decision to terminate the agreement that was initially signed on December 4, 2024.
The termination will take effect on August 27, 2025. The letter, signed by GACL Managing Director Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, notes that the agreement permits either party to terminate the contract “without cause” with a month’s written notice, a right that GACL has chosen to exercise.
The notice further stated, “You are therefore required to use this notice period to demobilize and leave the premises of Kotoka International Airport on or before the 27th of August 2025″.
While the letter did not specify reasons for the termination, it expressed appreciation for Evatex’s services in recent months and extended best wishes for their future endeavours.
Copies of the letter were distributed to the Group Executives for Commercial Services and Finance, along with the Director of Legal Services at GACL.
