V12 Origenator takes ‘Abonten’ global with cinematic $200K video

Afrobeat and Hip-hop star V12 Origenator has officially set the industry ablaze with the release of the official visuals for his hit single, ‘Abonten.’

Riding on the momentum of the track’s audio release, ‘Abonten’ delivers a mid-tempo Hip-hop groove packed with a sharp message about hustle, discipline, and turning time into profit.

While the audio laid down the philosophical blueprint of making every second count on the streets, the newly released music video elevates the dirge into a high-octane cinematic exposition.

Following his debut music video ‘Tonga’—which sparked intense visual controversy across social media and airwaves—V12 Origenator has completely flipped the narrative.

Gone are the dark, polarising concepts of his past; ‘Abonten,’ which, according to checks, was shot in Zimbabwe, the USA, and Ghana, relies heavily on a bright and opulent aesthetic.

The cost of shooting the ‘Abonten’ video is rumoured to be around $200,000.
