The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned and emergency maintenance works across selected communities in six regions from October 26 to 30, 2026, to improve electricity supply reliability.
The exercise will affect parts of Accra East, Accra West, Tema, the Central Region, the Volta Region and the Ashanti Region.
According to ECG, the maintenance activities will involve technical interventions to upgrade electricity infrastructure, repair underground cables and strengthen the power distribution network.
The company says the works form part of ongoing efforts to address faults and improve the reliability of electricity supply in its operational areas.
Residents and businesses in the affected communities are advised to take note of possible power interruptions during the maintenance period.
