Charterhouse, organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), has opened entries to nominate eligible musicians for the 24th VGMA show.
The event, which started in 1999, has honoured Ghanaian musicians who have inspired citizens and those in the diaspora.
In an announcement, Charterhouse stated that they had opened entries for participation, implying that only works published in the year 2022 will be accepted.
“Thus, all works from January 1st to December 31st, 2022, should be submitted via our online portal at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com. There shall be no manual submissions,” parts of their statement read.
According to the event organisers, the submission deadline is Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Meanwhile, Charterhouse has provided applicants with a performance sheet that allows them to share other relevant information that may not be on the forms provided on the site.
“The purpose is to offer applicants the opportunity to share any relevant information, such as streaming numbers, performances, or an Electronic Press Kit (EPK), that might be useful to the cause,” they added.
Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), formerly known as the Ghana Music Awards, has honoured Ghanaian musicians like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Akwaboah, Diana Hamilton, Reggie Rockstone and others.
