Amanfrom, Tetegu And Other Parts Of Accra To Experience Power Outage Today

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that several areas in the Greater Accra Region will experience a power outage today, Thursday, May 25, 2023.

This scheduled outage is a result of planned maintenance activities conducted by the power distributor.

In a press statement released on Wednesday, ECG expressed its regret for any inconvenience caused by the power interruption.

It explained that maintenance work is essential to ensure the efficient functioning of the power supply infrastructure.

The power outage is expected to begin at 9 am and last until 4 pm on Thursday. During this period, residents and businesses in the affected areas should anticipate a temporary disruption in their power supply.

The areas that will be affected by the outage include Katamanso Police land, ECG quarters, Paradise Estate, Sweden Medical Centre, Amanfrom, Ashieyie Reservoir, Adom Gate, Ashieyie Fulani, Tetegu, White Cross, Sampa Valley, and the surrounding regions.

The ECG advises residents and businesses in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements to minimize any inconveniences that may arise from the temporary power outage.

It assures customers that every effort will be made to complete the maintenance work promptly and restore the power supply as soon as possible.
