Accra West to witness temporary outage over planned maintenance — ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has declared a scheduled maintenance operation that will lead to a temporary power interruption in certain areas of the Accra West Region.

In a notification, ECG stated that the planned maintenance aims to enhance service delivery and provide a more dependable power supply for its customers.

This operation is anticipated to occur on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

ECG mentioned that the scheduled works will impact numerous communities, including: Fadama, Kwashieman, Nyamejye, Darkuman, Abeka, Lapaz, Tabora, Race Course, Kwashiebu, Chantan, and Hansonic.

Additionally, the affected areas include Dansoman Junction, Mallam Junction, McCarthy, Choice, Sampa Valley, Alogboshie, Achimota Neoplan, Benjilo, Manhean, Oduman, and nearby regions.

The power distributor expressed its apologies for any inconvenience that the maintenance operation may cause.
