The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Kwadaso Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Yaw Bona Boadi, has passed away.
Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia confirmed Mr Boadi’s death on Sunday, October 25, 2026, though details surrounding his passing remain unclear.
In a Facebook post, Dr Bawumia expressed sadness over the loss, describing the late constituency chairman as a committed party member who dedicated his time and resources to the development of Kwadaso and the NPP.
He described Mr Boadi’s death as a major blow to both the party and the constituency, noting that his contributions and role as a pillar of the party would not be forgotten.
“My deepest condolences go to his family and to all NPP members in Kwadaso. We have lost a pillar,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
He called on party members to stay united and continue the work of the late chairman in honour of his legacy.
Dr Bawumia also prayed for God to grant Mr Boadi eternal rest.
