Former Choggu/Tishigu Member of Parliament and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Ibrahim Adam, has been confirmed dead.
Ibrahim Adam was an animal scientist and a seasoned politician who held the position of Agriculture Secretary and subsequently Minister for Food and Agriculture during the tenure of former President Jerry John Rawlings.
He represented the Choggu/Tishigu Constituency in Parliament from 1997 to 2001.
In addition to his ministerial and parliamentary roles, he also held the position of Board Chairman of the Agricultural Development Bank.
His passing signifies the loss of a prominent figure in Ghana’s political and agricultural landscape.
